When the skylight is ready to be delivered, we usually take 2 to 3 days to do the work. After that, your roof is completely waterproof again. The inside often still needs to be finished.
Making the hole can start at €2000,- excluding VAT, depending on the size of the skylight. When placing a skylight in a concrete roof, many different disciplines are required. We can organise your skylight from start to finish for you, or parts of it. For example, you can choose to do the finishing on the inside yourself. A total package for a skylight or roof window starts at approximately €4500,- excluding VAT (excluding skylight).
Placing a skylight or roof window in itself is often not subject to a permit if it is further than 50 cm from the roof edge. However, making the hole for the skylight is a structural change, which is subject to a permit. To apply for that permit, you need a construction report, which we also make.
